Dr. Stormont is originally from St. Paul, Minnesota, but grew up in
southern Wisconsin. He graduated from Monroe High School in 1972 and received his Bachelor of Science in Genetics with honors from the University of
Wisconsin-Madison in 1976.
Dr. Stormont completed medical school in Milwaukee at the Medical College
of Wisconsin in 1980. He did his Orthopaedic Residency at the Mayo
Clinic Graduate School of Medicine from 1980 to 1985, where he was
honored as Chief Resident. Dr. Stormont also attended the University of
Minnesota Graduate School and earned a Masters Degree in Orthopaedic
Surgery. His original research on ankle stability earned him the
Excellence In Research Award from the American Society of Sports
Medicine in 1985.
Dr. Stormont is a published author, lecturer and researcher. He has
completed post-marketing arthritis drug studies, and Phase II FDA drug
studies on muscle spasm. Dr. Stormont is a sought after speaker, giving
regional lectures to physician groups throughout the midwest on
arthritis therapeutic options, and orthopaedic injuries. Some of Dr.

Dr Stormont lives with his wife and 3 children in Monroe, Wisconsin.
